They know  . And this is why  WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU ! BECAUSE YOU KNOW > yet here you are  reigning your misogynist of terror on us . because we the black women must not only deal with  racist sexist white male and others .. she must deal with you too. But YOU KNOW .. you too developed survival mechanism to SURVIVE those encounters. but then you turn around and terrorize us  just like they terrorize you !  FUCK YOU FUCK YOUR LIFE FUCK YOUR EXISTENCE. because YOU KNOW.  I WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU BECAUSE YOU KNOW> HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN RACIST COPS. RACIST MILITARY OCCUPIERS HUMILIATE YOU. TREAT YOU LIKE A LESSER BEING MAKE YOU FEEL POWERLESS?  think about this . think about this  for a very long time. well this is how you turn and treat US . so fuck you again. FOR ME  THOSE BLACK DUDES ARE ON THEIR OWN.   because I have to survive the racist misogynist. and between me and you  I WILL NOT BE TERRORIZED BY YOU TOO. YOU AIN”T SHIT . YOU KNOW .  YES THAT IS RIGHT I EXPECT BETTER FROM YOU BECAUSE YOU KNOW.  but since you won’t behave and treat me like a human being. fight for your own liberation . it is what you have done anyways . I will fight for my own. I owe YOU NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING  and I will make sure the future GENERATION KNOWS THAT SHE OWES YOU NOTHING TOO

YOU HATE US  JUST LIKE THE RACIST COPS/ MILITARY OCCUPIERS DO. and this is were I’m going to file you.

^^^^^^

I have seen it here time and time again from these ‘male feminists' *cough* *cough* trying to justify and excuse black men's misogyny by claiming that since white men inform what is to be a man, black men should not/ cannot really be held responsible (¬_¬)

Countless times, I have seen women take the defense of misogynistic shit fucks like Odd Future, Jay-Z and that rapper who was advising young black males to sexually abuse and assault black girls!

Yet I have NEVER EVER EVER EVER seen black men collectively demonstrating the same support and dedication!!

Yeah, all our reality is informed by whiteness since we live within white supremacy DUHHHH!! But debates around black males’ misogyny, like all debates among people of African descents, are trapped in that delusional and fallacious ‘unity’ whose ultimate goal is to cater to the white gaze at the expense of those at the very bottom, in this case black women. Womanists have been concerned about black men’s well-being for decades, did it make them collectively less misogynistic?? A time for responsibility must come! And quick!!

I am just fucking fed up with the fact that ALL conversations about black men’s misogyny have to fucking be derailed by their struggle and hardship within whiteness; and I, a black woman, at the receiving end of misogyny from both black and white men, am ordered to be understanding, open for ‘constructive debate' FUCK THAT!! Fuck that 'constructive debate' that never addresses the facts that black men do have economical, political, cultural and social POWER over black women (hence more agency within white supremacy) and that black misogyny target nobody else but black women!! I have never seen properly dissected here the various ways in which black men, intentionally or not, deploy their power to oppress us yet I have read ginormous garbage such as someone once claiming that it was the understandable result of black men’s emasculation within white supremacy, say what???!?!?!

I have said this time and time again: I DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE A FLYING FUCK OR SIMPLY HEAR ABOUT YOUR PAIN IF YOUR PAIN, AS SOMEONE WITH POWER OVER ME, LEAD YOU TO HURT ME!! FUCK THY PAIN AND FUCK ANY PRIVILEGED PIECE OF SHIT CONVINCED THAT THEIR SUFFERING ENTITLES THEM TO MAKE ME THEIR PUNCHING BALL!! I WILL NEVER EVER LET ANYONE USE THEIR PAIN TO OPPRESS ME!! I am so done with holding people’s hands just to be spat on! At the end of the day, as a black woman, EVERYBODY shits on me and I shouldn’t have to take nicely any blow thrown at me while I am on the floor!

Using your pain to justify/excuse inflicting pain onto others is the typical oppressive tactic which assumes that oppressors’s pain de facto holds more value than the one they are inflicting to their victims, and aims to swift the line of debate so that oppressors are perceived as the ultimate victims in the situation. Hence all the sympathy, time, attention, focus, concern, support that should go to the real victims, are then given to those who oppressed them! This is disgusting blatant erasing manipulative and silencing shit! And you perfectly nailed it! It is indeed because THEY KNOW how it feels like to be degraded  humiliated, coerced, harrassed and dehumanised that they should fucking know better and more should be expected from them instead of constantly trying to explain away their excusable behavior!

People are putting the cart before the horse. We shouldn’t assume and pretend that the sole fact of a shared oppression is ground for a unity strong enough to tackle down whiteness!! We should drop that front for a minute, stop trying to get a white people and properly discuss and go through our internal affairs. It is only with a strong and unified coalition that we can defy whiteness. Until then, tschuss!

Ghetto Girls

freshmouthgoddess:

kneelingelephant:

Real truth: It’s not that she’s ghetto, she’s too loud. Nope. The issue is that she’s a Black woman. And as a black woman she shouldn’t have a voice. Well, at least in the eyes of society that’s how it is.

Yeah, Unless she’s bending over giving you brain, shaking her goods (like those music videos), then she better not be saying nothing…her voice doesn’t matter.. only her body, just as she was used as a sex slave in the Middle East for 1300+ years, and sexually exploited in the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade for 400+ years, she hasn’t had her voice heard in a while, and it annoys you that she should speak, or choose to break this barrier. She must speak according to your dictation, or what she says is dismissed as irrelevant. That right there is the problem.

It’s not that she’s ghetto (do you even understand what that means anyways??). It’s not that she’s too loud either, or some other stereotypical notion you have going on.

The underlying problem with you is that she’s a Black woman.

End of story.

yes .. so many around the world are complicit in shutting up black women everywhere… so ucking many.. … so fucking many….. from the Arab slave trade to the tanslatantlic slave trade….

Michelle Obama Shown as Partially Nude Slave on Cover of Spanish Mag
*Man, folks try to get away with anything when they think no one is watching.
So on newsstands in Spain for the August cover of Magazine Fuera de Serie, First Lady Michelle Obama sports an American flag … and nothing else. In fact, her nipple is showing. While she’d probably never pose for a photo like this, one has to ask about the motivation behind such a risqué depiction of someone who should be regarded with respect. She looks like a Playboy slave, waiting for her master to seduce her. It’s weird.
One black British writer explains the gesture is blatant racism that somehow almost got overlooked. This isn’t the first time European media has attempted to push things under the radar with no apology. Remember that time when Dutch magazine, “Jackie,” wrote a story about Rihanna with the headline “Niggabitch?” But this time, Michelle’s article is accompanied with a controversial headline: “Michelle Tataranieta De Esclava, Dueña De América” (Michelle Granddaughter of a Slave, Lady of America). The cover artwork is actually a mashup created by French/English artist Karine Percheron-Daniels and is a play on an enslaved African Guadeloupean painted by French artist Marie-Guilhelmine Benoist in the 1800s. Racism or not, the piece is a part of a series of famous nudes-Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth II, Abraham Lincoln, and President Barack Obama.
The artist says the piece offers, “an alternative unexpected reality,” that allows you to, “view famous individuals in a different way.” WTF I wonder if the first lady was Nancy Regan what storyline they would have chosen?

When I tell people that in Southern Europe, black women are seen as 100% SEXUAL OBJECTS 0% HUMAN BEINGS, people think I am exaggerating or lying!! This is the first lady of the richest and most powerful country on Earth, look at how they treat her. Just imagine how they would treat a random black woman on the street!! They sell and traffic us like fucking commodities, like sex slaves!
It is because of stuff like this that I will NOT shut up! Mediterranean men are nasty, gross and vile! Just watch them come and cry because their nastiness is exposed!

Excuse you?

What do you mean :/

escapefromcrete replied to your post: escapefromcrete replied to your post:…

yeah for sure, “arab” identified North Africans are no better than any other arabs (and sometimes they are a lot worse!)

Sadly true (._.)

Italians are the worst, consider us monkeys and what not but consider beautiful Black women (and men) as some form of trophy, some kinda of long felt dream.

@Anonymous

Like it was said earlier, they fetishize us, desire us, hate us and dehumanise us, ALL AT ONCE.

And yeah, Italians are straight up the worst! UGH!

escapefromcrete replied to your post: Mediterraneans are racist as fucking hell, yet I…

I totally agree, but also remember that a good portion of the Mediterranean is African!

Yeah my mistake. When I referred to ‘AFRICAN’, I was talking about black Africans actually and ‘Mediterranean’, to refer to non-black, non-African Mediterranean.

Sadly though, from my experience with many North-Africans in France, non-black Mediterranean Africans are just as anti-black but they do not exotify us as much, at least.

windupbirdchronicle replied to your post: Mediterraneans are racist as fucking hell, yet I…

it makes complete sense. When they turn you into something so undesireable, they’re “doing you a favor” just by having sex with you. disgusting.

YES!

So what came first. The dehumanisation or the exotification? I think that the exotification came first and the dehumanisation was a way to legitimise it.

In order words, they exotify us, yet degrade and dehumanise us so that we can be more vulnerable to their hypersexualisation of our bodies. A way to keep the upper-hand despite their intense repressed desire for our exotified bodies. I think that the sexualisation of black women in Mediterranean psyche is very poorly understood and way to often conflate with a US-centric approach of racism.

The sexualisation of black women ( and not merely black people as a whole) precedes slavery and racism as an institution in the Mediterranean. It goes back before the homogenisation of European civilisation. This is why Mediterranean Europeans are more proned to such behaviour. I would even say that it goes as far back as the Roman Empire through its dealings with Africa. Well this is my opinion.

Mediterraneans are racist as fucking hell, yet I have never heard of a people that exotifies and fetishizes black women as much as they do.

They would openly tell you how black people are ugly and disgusting looking, especially Italians who have little issue throwing racist abuse at your face on the streets yet, most female prostitutes or a significant part of female prostitutes in these countries are AFRICAN!! I kid you not! It is the case in France! And in Italy, I read somewhere that 40% of all prostitutes where straight from Nigeria alone!

When I lived in France, these pigs would not live me alone. Especially once again Italians who are very in your face and treat us black women like walking, breathing cum-buckets. Even when I go to Central London, I see all those men smiling at me, looking at me with a lot of fucking insistence and in 100% of cases, they are Italians, French, Romanians or anywhere else from the Mediterranean. Even the Turkish men here in Walthamstow do NOT want to leave me the fuck alone!

Go the fuck away with your racist pale faces! I do none of you UGH!

Reasons why if you’re a Black woman with a time machine you should head to Igboland first

  • Igbo women were the breadwinners. They dealt in the market and handled money, their husbands gained their wealth from working on the farms. If you’ve read Buchi Emecheta’s “Efuru” you would have seen a perfect example of this, and of how a good woman was one who had a great sense of business.
  • If you’ve read “Efuru” you would also notice the ease with which an Igbo woman could marry and divorce.
  • A good wife-to-be was expected to have had boyfriends, Igbo society generally did not try to control female sexuality.
  • Igbo people did not frown upon sex work. “Free” women were accepted as being part and parcel of society and could carry out sexual liaisons as they saw fit.
  • There were no restrictions on a woman’s movement. Igbo women could travel far and wide in the name of business, visiting friends or family, running away from home etc. They did not require a chaperone.
  • Igbo society had spaces for trans women (and trans men too!).
  • Women could marry women once upon a time in Igboland.

And I will tell the women to tell the men and kids and animals, “DON’T LET THEM GET OFF THE BOAT!”

Yes!

This photo fascinates me because it expresses a dynamic that you don’t often see between men and women, with a man taking on the adoring role and the woman drinking it all in.

My husband looks at me like this all the time. I act like it annoys me, but really… he’s the only man who has ever openly adored me and it still weirds me out. Its a shame that as women, particularly women of color, we have been acculturated to not be admired and adored… to think that men who do that for us, who look at us like this are at best, weird… and at worst, simps.
But I’ll tell you this, if he ever stopped looking at me like that, I’d die inside.

This has happend to me before. I miss it. *sigh*

The concept of hair texture and length is also an important attribute when defining whether a woman is black or mulata. Anthropologist Nilma Lino Gomes has done extensive research on the significance of hair in the construction of black identity in Brazil. She notes how a black woman can instantly become a mulata by simply changing her hairstyle. Hair weaves and extensions have become more and more popular amongst Afro-Brazilian women as the price becomes more affordable. Gomes herself notes that when she wears her own hair in its natural state or in braids, white and black men alike refer to her as crioula, negra or negona. When she wears a weave, men call her morena, morena linda (pretty brown-skinned girl) or mulata. (7)

Keep in mind that for many Brazilians, defining oneself or describing someone as black (negra or preta in Portuguese) is deemed an insult. In Brazilian ideology, if a woman of visible African ancestry is considered attractive, she cannot possibly be black; she is suddenly defined with some other ambiguous racial or color-coded term like mulata or the ever popular morena.

The Brazilian mulata: black woman or something entirely different? (via cosmicyoruba)

This is the case everywhere on Earth. If a black woman is deemed attractive, she thought to necessarily be somewhere in her ancestry mixed. I remember when Miss Angola became Miss World, many of the commentators were claiming that she couldn’t possibly be ‘simply African’, she might be mixed race.
